Calcium Hardness is a necessary commodity in proper swim pool care, but must be maintained in correct chemical balance.  Too much hardness will cause mineral formation of scum lines on pool walls, or may cause cloudy water.  Too little hardness will cause corrosion of metal piping, pumps, and concrete pool walls.  DAVIES "CALCI-PLUS" will boost calcium hardness in pools that have soft water.
